Fiona Veronique (b.1993) is a photographer exploring intersections of spirituality, performance and construction of self through a framework that is both personal and anthropological. Her practice is informed by research into histories of painting, spiritual communities, the occult, performance and folklore.

She is a recent graduate of the Photography MFA program at Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY [26’] and received her BFA in Photography from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY [15’]. Her photographs have been featured in publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker, BOOOOOOOM, FOTOFILMIC, Der Greif, and Musée Magazine. Most recently, she was a finalist for the Film Photo Award in 25’ and 26’, and her ongoing project, The White Handkerchief, was shortlisted for the Athens Photo Festival in 2024 and 2026. Her photobook Riddle, an exploration of mythologies in the American West, was published by Antics Publications in 2020. She was selected for the Eddie Adams Workshop in 2022. Veronique currently lives and works in Rochester, NY.

Currently working on projects in Western/Upstate NY and Southern Iowa - also occasionally in France and Hungary, where extended family reside.
