Fiona Veronique (b.1993, France) is a photographer fascinated by the thin boundary separating the spiritual and earthly worlds. Veroniqueโ€™s work explores relationships between spirituality, performance, family, culture, and lived environment through a framework that is both personal and anthropological. She is a recent graduate of the Photography MFA program at Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY [26โ€™] and received her BFA in Photography from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY [15โ€™]. Her photographs have been featured in publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker, BOOOOOOOM, FOTOFILMIC, Der Greif, and Musรฉe Magazine. Most recently, she was a finalist for the Film Photo Award 2025, and her ongoing project, The White Handkerchief, was shortlisted for the Athens Photo Festival in 2024 and 2026. Her photobook Riddle, an exploration of mythologies in the American West, was published by Antics Publications in 2020. She was selected for the Eddie Adams Workshop in 2022. Veronique currently lives and works in Rochester, NY.

Currently working on projects in Western/Upstate NY, Southern Iowa and occasionally France and Hungary, where my extended family resides.
